General Conditions of Sale
These terms govern bookings made through our website for the short-term rental of the Il Garovaglio apartment located in Como, Italy.
1. Accommodation Details
Il Garovaglio is a stylish and fully equipped two-bedroom apartment with a private garden, located in central Como. It accommodates up to 5 guests and is suitable for families, couples, professionals, and mature or mobility-impaired travelers.
2. Rates and Inclusions
All rates include:
Bed linen and towels upon arrival
Fast WiFi (private connection)
Use of equipped kitchen, garden, private garage
Utilities (electricity, water, heating, air conditioning)
Laptop and printer
Final cleaning
Complimentary welcome bottle of wine and water
Additional charges may apply (see Section 6).
3. Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in: From 16:00 to 20:00 via self-check-in system
Late check-in (after 20:00): €35, to be arranged in advance
Check-out: By 10:00 on the day of departure
Check-in requires valid ID for all guests. Instructions will be sent prior to arrival.
4. Payment and Deposit
A refundable security deposit of €350 is required per stay.
Deposit will be refunded within 7 days after departure, subject to no damages or excessive cleaning.
Tourist tax: €3 per adult per night, up to 4 nights (children under 14 exempt)
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and refunds are managed according to the terms presented at the time of booking via our platform. Please review these carefully before confirming your reservation.
6. Extras and Optional Services
Change of bed linen/towels during stay: €30 (on request)
Pets (on request only):
Allowed with prior approval
Additional refundable deposit of €150
Cleaning fee: €35 (due to allergy disinfection procedures)
Transfer to/from Malpensa Airport: €125 per trip (up to 8 guests, on request)
7. Children & Infants
Children and infants welcome
Baby cot, high chairs, toys, books, and socket covers provided free of charge
8. Accessibility
Ground floor apartment with lift from the garage
No internal stairs; wide doorways and step-free access
Suitable for guests with limited mobility
9. House Rules
No parties or events
Quiet hours: 22:00 to 07:00
Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment
Please respect neighbors and shared building areas
10. Eco-Friendly Policy
Energy Class A building with renewable energy supply
Appliances are Class A energy-rated
Recycled and biodegradable consumables provided
11. Liability and Responsibility
We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during your stay
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents
12. Guest Interaction and Assistance
While we do not live on-site, we offer full remote support during your stay. Assistance is available by message for any issue, recommendation, or emergency.
13. Privacy and Security
No surveillance cameras on the premises
Apartment secured with an armored door, personal safe, fire extinguisher, CO₂ detector, and first aid kit
Guest access is private and includes the entire apartment, garden, and garage
